Born in the city of Newark, New Jersey

on the coldest day in our the year of our Lord,

Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-Six,

in the month of October and on the thirteenth day.

Built upon an unmovable foundation by the hands of the city’s most distinguished professional Black Men of the time.
